Who handles your data

Web Katalyst Advertising Services, a company registered in Abu Dhabi (licence no. CN-5401611), Office M40, Nahel Tower, Al Majarat Street, Al Danah, Abu Dhabi 22220, United Arab Emirates. For any question about your data: info@webkatalyst.com.

What we collect, and why

When you write to us

Your name, your work email, the subject you chose and your message; your company and phone number if you give them. We use them to reply and to follow up on your request: you receive an acknowledgement, then a personal reply. If the request goes unanswered, we may send you a single follow-up message.

When you ask for the free guide

Your name and your email. The download link appears as soon as the request is recorded, and the guide is also sent to you by email.

The newsletter, only if you ask for it

A contact or guide request does not subscribe you to anything. You only receive our newsletter (AI agents, automation, e-commerce; at most one email a week) if you ask for it, by ticking the dedicated box in a form or through the website’s subscription form, and then confirm your subscription in the email we send you. We keep proof of that consent: the text you accepted, its date and the page. Every issue contains an unsubscribe link.

When you book a call

Booking takes place on Cal.com, where you enter your name, your email and the subject of the call. We receive this information to prepare the meeting.

Technical data attached to a request

The page the request was sent from, the previous page, the language and any campaign parameters in the address. Your IP address is not kept: only a fingerprint is used to limit repeated submissions.

The tools involved

  • Hostinger hosts the website: each request is first recorded there.
  • n8n (automation) receives the request and organises its follow-up: notification to our team, acknowledgement, possible follow-up message.
  • Brevo (emails and contact records) sends the emails related to your request and, if you asked for it, the newsletter.
  • Google Workspace is our mailbox: this is where your requests and our exchanges arrive.
  • Cal.com handles appointment booking.
  • Google reCAPTCHA protects the forms against automated submissions. It is only loaded when you start filling in a form; it then analyses technical browsing data and may set a security cookie, under Google’s privacy rules.
  • Google Analytics measures website traffic, only with your consent.
  • WhatsApp, if you choose to write to us that way.

These providers act on our behalf, each for its own task. Some process data outside the European Union: in the United Arab Emirates, where we are established, and in the United States for Google, Cal.com and WhatsApp. Your data is neither sold nor passed on to third parties for their own use.

Audience measurement and cookies

Until you accept, the website loads no measurement tool. On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline, with two buttons of equal weight.

  • If you accept, Google Analytics is loaded and sets cookies (_ga and _ga_…, two years at most) to count visits: pages viewed, where the visit came from, type of device. We send it neither your name, nor your email, nor the content of your requests.
  • If you decline, nothing is loaded and the website works the same way.
  • To change your mind, the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page reopens this choice. If you withdraw your consent, measurement stops and the measurement cookies are deleted from your browser.

Your choice is kept for six months in your browser, without a cookie; the banner is then shown again. If you dismiss the newsletter subscription prompt, your browser remembers it for thirty days, without a cookie and without your address. We use no advertising cookies.

How long we keep data

  • Requests and exchanges: for as long as it takes to handle your request, then for as long as our relationship lasts (quote, project, follow-up). You can ask us to delete them at any time: we do so within a month.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe; your address then stays marked as unsubscribed, so that we do not write to you again.
  • Audience measurement: cookies of two years at most; banner choice kept for six months.
  • Invoices and accounting records: the period required by law.

Your rights

You can ask to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by writing to info@webkatalyst.com. We reply within one month at most. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in every issue, and withdraw your consent to audience measurement with the “Manage cookies” link.

If you live in the European Union, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
